Birmingham City University - Bespoke Pre-wired Distribution Boards

HAC were approached by one of our distribution partners to quote for a large quantity of special power and lighting boards for a high-profile project at Birmingham City University.

The contractor working on the project was keen to use a bespoke solution rather than an off the shelf offer which would allow every board to be configured to best suit the locations in which they were to be installed whilst also minimising wiring time on site.

By working closely with the site team, HAC could develop a range of multiple board variants which included specially designed Header Trunking and Cableways painted to match the RAL colour of the Schneider boards which were specified by the Client.

The boards were all delivered to the local distributors location fully assembled with all devices and meters fitted. The electrical contractor was then able to call the boards off as required ensuring a high quality and speedy installation.

• Multiple Variants of split power and lighting boards

• Pre-Installed Header Trunking to match the containment being used on site

• Specially produced colour co-ordinated cable ways housing terminals for each circuit

• All devices fitted and wired to terminals
