Large Data Centres

Switchgear Services (Part of the HAC group) have been involved in the design, manufacture, supply, onsite installation and commissioning of 4000A switchboards and associated additional switchboards along with upgrades to existing switchgear to provide a Resilient supply to a large Government  data centre.

The requirement was for a PLC control system providing fully automated control of the system with full BMS overview.

Our design engineers worked closely with our client and met their demanding control and interlocking requirements for a complete wrap around standalone system.

UPS By Pass panels were part of the same package affording the client complete control of their UPS units, including neutral to earth contactors and mechanical interlocking requirements.

The whole project required our highly skilled copper and fabrication engineers working closely with our client to integrate existing bus duct systems into our new panels and the integration of busduct systems into existing switchgear on site.
